hurricane party?

Postby aleguy » Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:54 am

Is anyone having a hurricane party? I'm told it's a local tradition. Seems like a good day for it.

Lol. I started yesterday after my extended family arrived, and I got everything secured.

Checklist goes something like this for hurricane prep: food? Check. Propane? Check. Generators run? Check. Gas for generators? Check. Extension cords reach the kegerator? Check. Enough co2? Check. 20 gallons of beer? Check.

Of course, I could always fall back onto the wine or mead to conserve co2 if necessary.

Yall be safe. I'm betting I will be without internet for a couple of days, but if cell service stays up, I'll check in. Pics may need to wait foe broadband to return.

Sounds like you had a better time than I did. you forgot the chainsaw though.
I drove by your place on Tuesday, but didn't know which house was yours. I'm betting it was the one with the distinctly unhappy looking teenage boy raking leaves.
My brother went over to help his friend pull a tree branch down, I was just along for the ride.
