I tried the Coffee stout from the Sam Adams finalist and thought it was great, Now i am looking at something similar but using a new product smoked coffee beans, I might buy the beans and try it in coffee first, anyone want to go in on smoked coffee beans here is the link, also how about a chocolate coffee stout, or smoked coffee chocolate stout :D

umm how about a chocolate oatmeal stout, read about it on a probrewer forum

I have about to sips of a smoked beer once its not for me.
Then you throw smoke coffee in a stout with its smoke burt notes.
Does realy sound very good. Now chocolate stout is a little defferent.

I would have to taste the coffee first, but I can't see it adding much that couldn't be accomplished otherwise.
As far as smoked beer is concerned, I think it is best used for boiling bratwurst in.
