Bluesberry Festival - 2013

Postby jimmiec » Wed May 29, 2013 11:36 am

A couple of us (Jgliving, Brewmeis, and sdspespo1) made a Kolsch last weekend that we are going to add blueberrys to and plan on serving it at the Bluesberry Festival, Blue Moon Saloon, June 22, 2013. We plan on adding LA grown blueberries to the secondary of 2.5 gallons (may add some to the keg too) and some just to the keg of another 2.5 gallons. Additionally, might try something similar to the The Hopinator. Of coarse any input is welcome and come try the beers to see which works the best or help serve.

Amazing job last weekend especially Tattoo Mama and Justin with serving and explaining the beer to people. Chris and I was able to set up things in a great spot in the shade. Thanks guys. We got a lot of great praises. The Blueberry Kolsch turned out pretty good and the recipe is on the forum.

I went ahead and volunteered us again for next year. Myself, I can't wait.
