Club Business
The DYS will have a table and will be serving homebrew at Gulf Brew. One hundred gallons of homebrew should be enough to keep us serving beer the whole time of Gulf Brew. We don't want to run out. Anyone donating a keg of beer gets a entry ticket to Gulf Brew. Brew what ever you like and how ever much. We normally get together at Marcello's the week of Gulf Brew to taste and approve what we are going serve at the event. Almost everything get approved unless something is just really wrong (bad infection). Also need some volunteers to set up and serve at our table during the event, which really is a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure other clubs are more than welcome to set up a table and serve beer, just get with Yeastmeister (Gene) now on how to organize that with Gulf Brew or you can serve with us.

Mead Day is coming up on August 4. Not sure if or how much interest there is in getting together to make a mead or taste some meads. If there is interest just note it on the forum.

We need to start planning the 2013 Louisiana Homebrew Clubs Brewing Competition. More info can be found on the forum.

Yeastmeister did a presentation on advantages of 501c3 and donations to the Dead Yeast Society.
