Bulk buy Pion Locks

Postby Jerm » Tue Apr 17, 2012 3:59 pm

I have an opportunity to buy Pin Locks by the pallet at significant discount. Jeff (BM) and I will try to get 2-3 pallets and offer them to the club before trying to resell them on eBay.

Anyone interested speak up quickly, these kegs are headed to the scrap yard. We are limited on how many we can buy based on the ability to transport them back to LA from south AR.

I will make a deal tomorrow morning, but we will be able to sell them in the neighborhood of about $20/keg.

They hold pressure, but still contain soda syrup/residue.

I will be happy to hold them for you guys down south. If we have a big interest, I can get more, they currently have 5000 kegs destined for the scrap yard.

That's sad. So many kegs goong to scrap. When there is a shortage of used kegs, too!
Too many good deals lately. I am unable to take advantage of them!

These guys don't have a clue what they have. I am scared to tell them... lest I loose my good deal.

Depends on the timing. I will/would if I can work it around my monthly payday. I'm thinking four. But won't be able to afford them untill after the first Friday of next month.

Used ball locks are running about $80 each right now. If you can find any. Pin-lock prices have gone up a lot too. Cheapest online are abot $30 -$35 each. (unreconditioned.)

I've been looking for some. I'll take 3 or 4.

I got two, but I don't need them. One is marked "Coke" and the pressure warning, and the other is a Firestone. Both are in good shape with one minor dent each. I'll turn 'em over for my cost, $20.00 each, and will be down that way next weekend.

If anybody else got kegs and wants me to deliver them I can do that, preferably some place close to I-10/49, but I'm gonna go by Marcello's too.

Let me know.

I already PMed Jerm. He's supposed to be holding Five for me. Redtail has two. We were trying to get them picked up last Tuesday, but the timing didn't work out. Let m check and see what Redtail wants to do.
Kevin usually has Oaked Arrogant Bastard in stock. So your chances are pretty good. If you want Fantome or Jolly Pumpkin, though, you'll have to go to Phillipes.
