Ugly Duckling Brewfest

Postby lhardin02 » Wed Sep 07, 2011 10:59 am

Here is a friendly reminder about the event I was telling you guys last night at the meeting. It is on September 24th at Lafayette Receptions & Banquets.

Address: 600 Renaud Drive
Lafayette, LA 70507

The guy holding the event's name is Steven Snelling, and he basically asked us to donate the beer for him to have a private party. It cost $20.00 bucks to get in, and that gets you threw the door, all the free beer you can drink, food, music, and us putting on a brew demonstration. Not that any of you need to learn how to beer...LOL.

Here is the beer we will have on tap:

Foreign Extra Stout
Pale Ale
Hefeweizen
Honey Amber

Hope to see you guys out there! You can either get tickets from me, or if tickets are still available he will be selling them at the door.

Most importantly, what time are things supposed to start?

And just out of curiosity, what do you mean by music, is it a live band or a DJ, and what sort of music we talking here?

Sorry for the late response, but it starts at 2:00pm and will end at 6:00pm. As for as music there will be a DJ playing music in the background.

How did the brewfest go? I'm sorry I missed it. I really wanted to go out there and try some of the other Ugly Duckling brews (I had the stout at the September meeting and it was good) but I threw my back out the Thursday before the party (and it's still hurting right now in fact).
