What would y'all think about bringing some food and making it more of a party? If I am off that evening I could fry a turkey or bring a rotisserie roast or something. Just doing some thinking...

Sounds like an awesome idea! Anyone else up for it?

Fried turkey sounds great. I'll bring some rice dressing & a dessert.

Sounds great, I think I can make it. Between the house bs and work, I'm seriously stressing these days.
I'll try and bring something.

I'll still be offshore for the meeting, but sounds like a party...

I should mention that you guys should bring chairs! Since food is involved, maybe you need a place to sit. There isn't any sitting place currently available at the location. So portable chairs would be advised.

If anyone wants to show up early, I will be there around 4:00. Buddy is showing up around then to fry a turkey. If anyone has disposable plates iand utensils lying around, they could bring those. I have enough disposable cups for everyone.

This will be a normal meeting, with food being provided for anyone afterwards by the members that are donating it. No DYS funds are being used on this. The beer style of the month is holiday/spice beers, and I have already picked up the evaluation beers from Marcello's. Bring anything you want to share.

I normally inject my turkeys with butter and seasoning but with this one I am thinking of adding some beer to the mix. I will inject it before I leave so help me think of what beer to inject it with. I have pale, Burbon vanilla porter, and a hoppy brown that isn't carbed yet.

The hoppy brown will probably work the best in my opinion.
I usually mix up Cajun butter with beer and inject.

Also, I have the rice dressing covered.

Sorry you won't be here. I'd like to hear how you're coming along with that home-brew store you were talking about. We need a good place in Lafayette.
