Tasting tonight for Gulf Brew

Postby yeastmeister » Tue Jul 20, 2010 5:43 am

Tonights the night for tasting brews for gulf brew. Bring your kegs, or samples to Marcello's around 6:00 tonight. My understanding is that the Arts Council may have a photographer there, and the media may want to interview a couple of folks for the papers...

This gives everyone a chance to get feedback on brews. And it still gives us time to correct a few things, maybe its overcarbonated, maybe its undercarbonated. Now's the time to check.

I forgot to ask about the tickets. Do we just show up at Gulf Brew, or do we need to get our tickets in advance.

Just show up when we are setting up. We are starting around noon. Someone usually shows up shortly to hand us some wrist bands.

I didn't check the forum yesterday so I missed the tasting. But, everyone has already tasted any beers that I will bring. Just bring them to the event OK?

I'm still offshore, so it looks like I'm going to miss the whole chebang. I hope somebody takes lots of pics, and for pete's sake drink a few for me!

Cheers,
Dave

Yep, that's fine. We plan on starting to move the kegs around noon. That will allow plenty of time for them to settle.

I'm sure they'll be OK. But we will have to taste them on the day just to be sure.
And Guitarlord, we will all have a few for you as well. (Whether you show up or not.) :D

Cool deals. I will be bringing a few friends along. I think I asked for 4 tickets for myself and 3 others. If there are any more, please let me know. I have a few more that would love to go as well and just can't afford the ticket price.
