T-shirts for Gulf Brew

Postby triple-oh_six » Tue Jul 13, 2010 5:07 pm

We were supposed to bring up T-shirts for Gulf Brew during the last meeting.

I think we should get some to sell,

What do you think?

Time is short so speak up quick!

That's what I thought you meant, just checking. Let me know sizes and colors and I'll put that in as well.

Jimmie, color/style?

The color and style don't matter to me. So what ever is easiest. Also, I can wait to buy a shirt from you till after the Gulf Brew, in case someone from the public wants to buy a XXL.

Hey Jimmiec, I just don't see you wearing a fitted camisole, I think style, if not color should make a difference to you. personally, I think there are to many options available to sell them at GB, besides, I thought we had pretty much decided that club shirts were for club members and not to sell to the general public.

I think making money off the shirts and having them for promotional purposes is a good idea.
So it's faster to go through Yeastmeister or the link for the site? I'd like 1 XL men's black t-shirt and one Women's T-shirt black XL

Aleguy, I must have missed that, everyone I've talked to so far thinks it's a good idea, I plan on calling a few of the board members who didn't respond so we can clear this before placing the order.
We're not going to buy too many, I just think having some on site will definitely sell. I can almost gaurantee you that nobody will go to the site to buy a shirt if we try to do it that way.

I personally don't care. I just remember Yeasty and Wombat voicing that opinion, and just about everyone agreeing. I guess with no secretary to take minutes, there's no way to confirm that. I agree with the sentiment that club shirts should not be sold to the general public, but again, I don't see it as a pressing issue.
Here's hoping our secretary comes back, and our VP can find work that doesn't keep him away from so much club business. Sell all the shirts you like. I just seem to remember a policy that was probably never put to official vote anyway.
