Call for bottles to finish teach a friend to homebrew day

Postby yeastmeister » Wed Nov 18, 2009 9:02 pm

The brews should be getting ready to bottle over at Marcello's. I'm putting out a call for bottles. I have a case already that Aleguy gave for the last brew. All in all, we need about 100 bottles to cover both carboys. 1/2 of the brew goes to Marcello's, one half goes to the club (events, tastings, giveaways, etc). Marcello's uses them to give out to folks who have never tasted homebrew before.

That means we need 75 more bottles. I've got the caps and the priming sugar. Anyone have a stash of bottles they are willing to part with? Every bottle helps, only if you have a few to spare.

I have a boat load of Sierra Nevada bottles. I'll check tonight and see if I can come up with enough. We will still need to soak the labels off though.

Yep, I got home only to find that the bottle fairy came by. Thanks aleguy! I'll start them soaking to get the labels off. We're now covered.

I came by this morning to help finish cleaning them, but you were not home. I suppose 23 year-old muscadine wine can mess up your memory a bit.
