Mulberry tree's

Postby Imakewort » Fri Mar 28, 2008 4:41 pm

Looking for a producing mulberry tree, I need about 5 to 10 gall of fruit to make wine and maybe a fruit beer, how does a mulberry beer sound.

Not as good as a snausberry beer, but hey, we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.

No, but really though, I've never had a mulberry, but I'll be happy to try one.

Keep the snausberrys. I'd rather have one of the oompaloompas. Imagine how easy brewing could be with a couple of those and a little penny whistle.

I'm told there is a Chinese mulberry tree behind the Ira nelson center from which the fruit is never harvested. The fruit is said to be the size of kiwis and taste much better than the standard mulberries. If you go behind the classrooms there are some pines. the tree in question is behind them. If you get some fruit from it, save me some seeds please. though I intend to try and get some for myself.

I have a mulberry tree that's dropping lots of fruit right now. You can probably get 15 lbs off the ground before the birds get them or they dehydrate. You can come by tomorrow and get all you want, but I'm going offshore on Thrus. morning for a week.
