Does anyone know how to eradicate a grave vine? There is a volunteer grape vine that is plagueing my mom. Last spring it had hundreds of bunches of grapes that looked more like vinifera grapes than muscadine, and the leaves are shaped differently too.
I tried to talk her into leaving it until the fruit was ripe so I could try making some wine, but no dice. She hacked it back to the ground. It has come back with a vengeance. As much as I hate to kill a productive fruit plant, it has fallen to me to destroy the grape vine. Does anyone know how to kill it without digging out the roots? It is growing up through a Loquat that we would like to save.
