soda pop sources.

Does anyone know of a local source for soda pop extracts? Or have a good recipe that can be made from locally available ingredients? My nephews came into town and i don't have time to order anything online.

I don't know of any...
However, you might be able to get away with using those bottles of Snowball syrup for a cherry soda or something like that - I doubt they have a cola flavor, but maybe...

Kohls has some in the kitchen section that goes along with a machine they are trying to sell. However the syrup can be used without the machine. I didn't really care for the cola one though. Of coarse there is root beer syrup everywhere. A Ginger ale could be made with local

2 bottles of root beer of choice
4 ib of sugar or white and brown sugar combo
2 tbsp vanilla
this makes 5 gallon
carb up and drink
Marcellos also has soda extract.

In the back with the brewing stuff. it was on the shelf with the wine stuff
corks.Kevin had a bottle of rootbeer and Ginger Ale .

I saw some orange soda extract over there some time ago as well, I believe.
