sanitize aeration stone

Postby jimmiec » Wed May 25, 2011 8:07 am

How do you guys sanitize your aeration equipment (stone, tubing, and rod)? You just boil the stone or pump sanitizer through the equipment?

Is there a need to filter the oxygen from the bottle? However, I got an inline filter just in case.

As far as I know, everyone just soaks that stuff in starsan. Just be careful to never touch the stone with your bare hands as it will clog the pores.

Ale guy is right just sanitize the stone
with starsan or boil it. and no need to
filter the O2 but if it make you feel better
go far it.
