Beer Suey

Postby redtail28 » Wed Apr 13, 2011 9:02 am

Aleguy and I brewed a Beer Suey this past
Saturday. With the new grain I ordered coming
in ,I needed to finish up all the partly used buckets
of grain.
So the Recipe looks some thing likes this
11 lbs MO
8 lb 2 row
12 lbs Pils
1 lbs wheat
8 oz Honey Malt
1 lbs c 40
8 oz c 60

Now the Hops is where the Suey part comes in.
Mystery hops from Austin Home brew. I had 4oz
of these unknow variety or alpha acid.
75 min boil
First wort hopping
60 min
10 min
flame out
Og was 1.087 and pitch dry yeast safale 05
fermenting at 66 for the first 3 days then 69
tell it finish's up. Hopefully it turns out good.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure those were Centennial hops.
