I'm going to be in Ontario, Ca for a week. I hear there are some good places for craft beers there. Any suggestions? Also, I could see about taking some back. I'm not sure what the new rules are, but I believe I can check them in to go under the plane.

My 2 cents. The Bruery, Lost Abbey, and Stone are probably the biggest. All of the breweries have tap rooms. Some good Belgian style bars and bottle shops too. At the bottle shop you should get any Cantillon and Russian River that you can find and fit in your bag, no matter the prices. I'm sure there are some other places to visit.

Thanks Jimmie. I'll try to bring something back as well. TSA has gotten pretty crazy with liquids on planes now. If I do get something, it'll have to wait until our February meeting. I'll still be out of town.

I can't remember exactly where ontario is any more, But I seem to remember its in Northern Cali. I know this is late but there are some amazing brewpubs in the Bay Area. 21st amendment springs to mind, There are many more, but my beer-addled brain isn't remembering their names just now. Check the BN website, they should have all the info on the local scene somewhere.

I loved it when I was in the Bay Area (middle to north areas). I got to stay there for a couple months. My favorite place was Magnolia's in the Haight. Unfortunately, I never heard of Russian River then (2002).

It looks like Ontario, Ca is part of or outside of LA though.
