Well it's been along but fun project. I started building
my brew stand a couple of months ago.I cut up a shit
Load for bed frames from the old Dixie hotel, bet if they
Could talk the stories they would tell!
Bought a welding machine and taught myself to weld.
Now by no mean is it pretty but I feel good about it.

Well I'm at a point where it's time to make BEER!!
It’s working, now it's time learn to brew on
My homemade H.E.R.M.S
I'll pimp it out later!!!!!!!!! 8)

Here are a couple of pictures

What should I brew first?
Munich Helles or golden strong ale?

Looks great man, many a homebrewer has taught himself to weld for just this reason.
Good job, and good luck with your future brews.

My vote would be the golden strong, but I'm biased, it's one of my favorites.

I may come by, I stepped in a hole at the festival and sprained the shit out of my ankle. I had to call in sick for a few days. Supriseingly I was sober when I fell, just horrible luck.
I hope all goes well with your brew.
Prost

ok semaj0006, how about this, I'll bring over one of my brandy barrel barley wines and a couple of ibuprofen tablets, the ibuprofen will stop the pain, and the barley wine will eliminate the possibility of wanting to walk anymore....

How did your brewday go?

Sorry I couldn't make it, on top of my other problems the battery was dead in my truck this morning. I didn't get it running until late in the afternoon. :(

Hope your brew went well.

Wellllllll !! Alot of small problems like temp gage getting
wet and stop working.SS braid got stuck which made changing
temps tough, and getting the pump working right. Next challenge
was cooling, I was able to get to 77 need to work on that. Transffered
and placed in cooler. I finished around 630pm I think. I pitch the yeast at 830pm and at 330am both carboys where starting to show sign of fermation.missed my gravity  ended up at 1.065 or 16 brix.
OOOOOO well

Thanks to Zeke,Gene And Steve for the help and advice 8)

Can you say
"False bottom"
see I knew you could
