Brettanomyces!!!

Several months ago, I tried culturing the dregs of a bottle of Brasserie Fantóme saisson. I was disappointed that after three weeks, there was no sign of activity.
Out of sheer laziness, I did nothing with the bottle. Then this morning I noticed a white ring around the top of the wort and the apparent start of a pellicle. I guess I need to replace the airlock with a sanitized cotton ball, but I finally have my saisson yeast! (I hope.) :D

Drop some in a starter and taste it before you dedicate 5 gallons to the cause.

Yeah, it's in a starter. I just haven't gotten around to replacing the airlock with a cotton ball yet. I swirled it around last night and the little white ring around the outside came loose and is now floating on top. I hope I didn't screw it up.
There isn't any bubbling from the airlock, so I don't know if it's actually making any alcohol. But it's still just a very thin strand at the moment.
