Yeast hulls

Postby redtail28 » Sun Jun 07, 2009 9:38 am

I saw on the More beer site "yeast Hulls"
When would you use this stuff in the brewing process
At the start of fermentaion, at the end of the boil ?

Hmmm....never heard of them before....but looking around, they seem to come from the wine world. They are added post boil to fermentation, either at the beginning, or when a fermentation sticks. I may need to get some to try on beer.
