high carbonation beers

How do you enter high carbonated beers in contest. I mean around 4 vol
Can regular bottles hold up?

I would try two or three bottles and see. If you can get the old fashioned heavy bar bottles you might have better luck, but the heaviest bottles I know of in the 12 oz. long neck are the ones Redtail Ale comes in. Good luck and let us know how it turns out if you try it.

I have several champagne bottles that I can cap w/ regular bottle caps. You could probably also use wine bottles and a corker.

You can still find returnable bottles out there, those are generally made of thicker glass. Or plenty of things on the shelf at marcellos that are thick glass. Avoid the standard bottles sold by homebrew stores for that much pressure. Can lead to some very dangerous situations.

Nothing a beer judge hates more than having to pick glass out of his skin before he judges your brew. Surefire way to make sure you don't make it to the medal round.
