As a judge, I can say yes, it was a tough time. I must've judged 25 entries! Nevertheless, I can say that it was a success. Special thanks to Gene and Julie for their hospitality. Also, many thanks to Charlie Milan and all those who came from Baton Rouge to help with judging.

It is time for more DYS'ers to become judges! Let's make this a goal for 2010.

Judges? We don't need no judges. We don't need no stinkin' judges!

 I have a American brown, pale ale, and a IIPA that I could not get bottled because of being far away, and what do you have against competent BJCP judges?

Are we going to do this comp again in 2010? If so, we should probably start talking about it in the next couple of months. I'd love to be able to plan to enter more than one catagory, and we don't want to have to pick what I have on hand as the Mmmm category again :P .

I hope so I worked on trying to get all the clubs on board for 3 years and it finally came together this year.Is is supposed to be the start of a very nice annual competition, how about restarting our club only competition again we had that the last two years and sort of got missed this year, a good way for members to compete against each other and have fun and drink beer.

Um....actually, we did have the internal competition. It was Imperial IPA, You entered the competition because Red brought in 3 bottles for you. We had the beers judged at a meeting, and announced the winners and handed out medals. Aleguy won 1st, I won 2nd, and YOU won 3rd. However you never showed up again to claim your ribbon. Its still here waiting for you. Hows the weather in Taji?
