Whoo Hooo, DEAD YEAST SOCEITY does it again!

Postby Mob_Barley » Thu May 07, 2009 1:11 pm

Hey all, Just wanted everyone to know that I placed 1st in German Wheat and Rye Beer in the "South" Division in the first round of the Nationals (National Homebrew Competition) with my Weizenbock, and my Barleywine placed second in Strong Ale, both get to go to the final round of the Nationals in San Francisco coming up in June.

Here's a link to the results:

I just wanted everyone to know that I learn a lot from them on the forum and we have some great brewers giving feedback on the forum and on our beers at our monthly meetings. Thanks for all the help.

Nice!!! By the way....I currently have zero (0) entries from any other dead yeast guys for the contest this weekend. Come on guys, you gonna compete or not? I've got 3 other club entries, and none of yours......

Cangrats! I'm not a competitive brewer, so what. I still think you are doing well for yourself. Maybe it's time for you to start your own podcast.
As far as entering our own little affair, I got really drunk last night and consumed all my entries. Sorry.
Actually, I'll be bringing mine in this afternoon when I finally have enough in my checking account to cover the entry fee.
