My mother-in-law lives in Ms. & she clipped this for me.

Nice...I've stopped in and talked with them several times. Its really interesting to see what they are doing in so small a space. I'm glad they are expanding. They offer "tours" every Saturday morning.....no samples however, Mississippi law forbids it. :(

Do they have a gift shop there?

My friend broke my pint glass and my mother in law offered to pick me up a new one.

Lol - gift shop!?!?

No. They have an office of sorts in the back behind the mash tun. They do take credit cards however.....with an old fashoned slide and paper machine. Good thing they make some awesome beer (for a commercial outfit), or I would give them a hard time about that.

I already told them the southern pecan would be awesome with at least 1% (maybe 2%) more alcohol, but MS law seems to forbid it. I'd love to see what they would make if the regs allowed.

I have seen the label on the southern pecan and it's well below MS maximum alcohol content. They could boost it a little without crossing the line. I suspect it may have more to do with the pecan flavor and trying to get that just right with a new recipe.
