needle valves

Okay. I think I will need five of these to build a RIMS, so price is a huge issue for this part. I'm using this post to collect links. This is my first link. (Bottom of the page, below all the regulators.)

The price on these is right in line, but I can't tell if they're safe to use with high-pressure propane.

Something for everyone.

I still need to check the local hardware stores for price to see if they're competitive. It would be nice. I could save on shipping. So far I have paid more for shipping than for most of the parts I've bought.

I ended up getting the valves from the last link. Be aware that they are located in Louisiana, so if you live here, they WILL charge you state sales tax. It might be cheaper to get them from somewhere else.

I went to Guidry's Iron works on Jefferson to buy the flat steel I couldn't scrounge from anywhere, (not bad $8 for 20' with two cuts) and I walked into Guidry's hardware next door.
They have the same needle valves for less, and they don't charge shipping. Damn! Oh well, at least those who follow may be forewarned.

I'm going to have to spend some time checking them out more thoroughly.
