Does anybody have a chiller to sell, I thought I remembered someone looking to sell one.
I tried building a counterflow out of PVC but I didn't like the results, and I don't want to go w/ the gardenhose idea. I want "built to last" equipment from now on.
Let me know,
Thanks

I think your best bet is still your basic copper immersion chiller, they last forever, simple to use and to clean. If you make one yourself, fill the copper tubing with sand and be very careful not to crimp it while you bend. Slow and careful.

After I made this post last night I started looking at plate chillers. I'd like to go with a closed system for chilling but I haven't quite decided yet. I did some research last night and found alot of positive input. Iwas looking @ a Shirron Plate Chiller around $80 if I remember correctly.

I did however order a few things already:

Weldless Mash Keg Conversion - Stainless
$64.95

Dual-Threaded Insert for Wooden Taphandles
$1.25

The Ventmatic Sealed Forward Beer Faucet (All S/S)
$39.95

Faucet Shank - 3'' With Nipple
$15.90

Gnome Extract (Rootbeer)
$7.95

Rootbeer Sugar Kit - Bottling
$12.95

2L Brown Swing Top Growler
$27.95

Total: 170.90
Woo Hoo, can't wait!
