6th Annual Lafayette Lundi Gras Bar-A-Thon

Monday February 23rd, 2009. Sign up begins at 4pm in Marley's
Sports Bar (400 block of Jefferson St.) we take off for 5:10pm

"THE REAL FUN RUN" is a 4.8 mile (8k) group run with 6 stops to
consume a Bud Light or what ever we put in the mix, at each stop.
DESTINATIONS: Marley's to The Filling Station to Bisbano's to Cafe
Cottage to Bluemoon Saloon and finishing back at Marley's. We will
be able to run on portions of the parade route just before the 6pm
start of the Queens Parade

No worries...ride the float and protect the ice chest! Or ride a
bike...or a board or get a piggy back ride.

What ELSE?
Put on a costume…there maybe a prize. Donations of $40 to
T.R.A.I.L. (a non-profit organization working to build a bikable and
hikable community) will coverage your hydration desires.

T.R.A.I.L. is a local non-profit organization dedicated to building
and maintaining trails and paths for biking, hiking and running in
Louisiana. We have some good things going on. Working to get a
hiking and biking park built from downtown Lafayette to Beaver park
the along the Vermilion River out to Lake Martin and another leg out
to Acadiana Park. This trail will also give options to make
connections to St. Martinville and Breaux Bridge.
