not local but it is home brew

My cousin just emailed me this. He is a student at LSU and has helped me brew before. While the terminology sounds a little off to me I just think it is cool to have some good publicity for home brewing (even if it is Red Stick  )

A couple of weeks back I saw something on the net about 14 people in Indonesia getting killed from home brew. It wasnt beer, dont worry.

You are right about the story in Baton Rouge. The reporter didn't do his homework. It's shoddy work like that which gives journalists a bad rep.
I generally don't drink distilled spirits, so the Indonesia thing doesn't surprise me, though some might say they were being punished by Allah for violating the law of the Quran.
