I'd like to enter if you will lower the number of bottles to two. I bottle a few beers for competitions, but most major ones only require two bottles, so if I enter three here, that's two major competitions I can't enter. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

That should be fine. The presidents work schedule got changed on him, so I'm running the competition. In the hopes of getting some more participation, 2 bottles will be fine.

Stop on by anyway. There will be people there to talk to, and I'm sure beers will be left over to try after the judging.

Forgot to mention the time. I'm setting the judging to begin at Noon.

I will really try to come by. We're having a bit of a birthday party @ my house Fri. night,.... I'm getting old again. I'm sure I will feel 2x my age in the AM.
We also have a surprise party that Sat. for my Aunt.
I'll probably show up, but if not I'll see you guys @ Mardi Gras, and for sure the next meeting.

We have winners!

1st Place - Bobby Johnston - Bourbon Barrel Chocolate Porter, style 23 Specialty

2nd Place - Jack Manuel - American Pale Ale, style 10A

3rd Place - Gene Nelson - Foreign Extra Stout, style 13D

Thanks to everyone for entering! Everything was great, but only 3 could win.

Congrats to our winners! Please try and bring some to our next meeting so that others can try your winning brews!

I have been on the wrong schedule lately and have a hard time making the meetings since December. I'll bring a couple of bottles of the Bourbon Barrel Chocolate Porter to the next meeting I can make. I kept looking on the different web pages to see what the results of our competition were. Finally I looked in the forum and found them at the bottom of the announcement post. If it's going to be a big deal for the club to have a competition, then we need to make it easier to locate the results, at least a mention of where to find them...
