If I was to add a 2nd mash tun to my system, do you guys think it would be better to get a false bottom for the morebeer pot or the keggle. The morebeer pot false bottom definitely has more surface space.

Personally, I would go with a Sabco false bottom for the krggle. Stuck mashes are fairly rare with them. Nothing could have saved you guys last Sunday except a load of rice hulls.

I started w/ a morebeer false bottom and bought a sabco a bit later.
The sabco is FAR better.

After discussions yesterday and your comment, I'm going to go with the Sanford false bottom. I may try doing 10 gallon batch of no sparge so I need the second mash tun.

Instead of doing 10 gallons of no sparge, why don't you go ahead and sparge, but use your second and third runnings to make another beer? No sense in wasting it. You could make a small beer for free!

I want to try a parti gyle too, may be the next brew. However, it seems to be a method to make a variety of beers with different strengths. I would like to try a no sparge vs sparge too. Also, would like to do two different brews at the same time, which would add some diversity.
