There was some interest from club members about the high-domed lids for the igloo ice cube coolers, so here are some links:

Williams used to sell an adapter that would allow a standard regulator to be used with a paintball tank. They no longer appear to do so: ... 1C148.aspx

The three-gallon kegs from Chi company seem to have come up in price in the last few months, but they're still a good deal: ... 6d259236c0

I hope this helps anyone who is interested.

I looked at coolers today. Is there a shape that is better. morebeer has the barrel shaped. there is the traditional shape and then the more square shape. Is there a better one to get depending on the location of the drain plug? the model that the lids were for has wheels and the drain plug is under the wheels. Any recommendations??

This cooler is one that has been adopted for the rolling kegerator. It allows you to take a couple of three-gallon kegs anywhere and have draft beer easily.
for a mash tun, I recommend at least a 48-quart rectangular picnic cooler. I also think it would be wise to epoxy a piece of CPVC pipe into the drain hole (after drilling it out) to prevent crushing the foam which will result in leaks. Given that you probably want to drill it out anyway, It might just be easier to get a cooler without a drain hole. BTW the Rubbermade coolers seem to stand up to the heat better and are less prone to warping inside.
